David Cronk, CBiol, MSB: Senior Director, Biology
David Cronk joined BioFocus in 2005 and currently has responsibility for the assay development, screening and structural biology activities at BioFocus’ site in Chesterford Park, UK. David has over 20 years assay development experience from both the large pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The majority of this expertise was gained at GSK in development of assays and screens for a number of GPCR and ion channel targets. Prior to joining BioFocus he worked at Ionix Pharmaceuticals, a UK-based biotechnology company working in pain relief, as head of the molecular pharmacology team co-ordinating assay development and screening activities. David’s experience has proved invaluable in the support and management of client assay development, screening and compound profiling activities.
