BioFocus selects Titian’s Mosaic™ software to provide optimized screening services

As part of maintaining its position as a leading provider of screening services, BioFocus has selected Titian Software’s industry-leading Mosaic™ sample management software to provide fast and easy access to its 900,000 compounds, one of the largest HTS compound collections of any CRO in the world.
Titian’s Mosaic is capable of integrating with a range of automated robotic hardware and infrastructure, and will make it easy for BioFocus to extract and track compounds from its compound deck when screening for BioFocus’ worldwide clients. The new approach will optimize workflow efficiency with its clients, many of whom already use Mosaic. The software provides an up-to-the-minute status on the available inventory in real-time and automatically generates all required documentation.
Kate Hilyard, VP Biological Sciences of BioFocus commented: “During 2011 we enhanced our compound decks, and now for 2012 we have invested in the underlying software to manage these decks efficiently.
