  • BioFocus DPI and ZoBio announce marketing agreement

    BioFocus DPI and ZoBio announced today that they have signed a worldwide marketing and sales agreement for ZoBio’s fragment-based NMR technologies. Under the terms of the agreement BioFocus DPI will sell ZoBio’s services either as a standalone offering or in combination with BioFocus DPI’s drug discovery offering.

  • Galapagos sells San Diego chemistry facility to ChemVentures

  • BioFocus DPI adds structural biology to its drug discovery services

    Galapagos NV and Sareum Holdings plc announce today that Galapagos has acquired Sareum’s assets in drug discovery services, for a total cash consideration of €695,000 (£553,000). These assets will expand and strengthen Galapagos’ service division, BioFocus DPI, by adding structural biology to its pre-clinical drug discovery capabilities.

  • UCB transfers UK-based medicinal chemistry program to BioFocus DPI

    Galapagos NV (Euronext: GLPG) announced today that its service division BioFocus DPI and UCB have signed a contract for the provision of chemistry services in the UK by BioFocus DPI, for one of UCB’s medicinal chemistry programs. The total contract value for Galapagos could potentially exceed €4M.

    Wellcome Trust grant makes data publicly available to researchers BioFocus DPI announces the transfer of its databases for predictive drug discovery to the EMBL’s European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI). The data will become publicly available on-line to drug discovery researchers worldwide through the EMBLEBI under license from Galapagos, BioFocus DPI’s parent company.
