Compound libraries
Our focused libraries have delivered outstanding success in drug discovery programs. This success originates from the design that is tailored to specific target classes.
Years of screening expertise show the libraries to have significantly higher hit-rates than diverse compound libraries (up to 80 fold improvements on hit-rates).
Libraries are sold on a non-exclusive basis and contain an average of 500 novel compounds per library with excellent tractability for hit-finding and lead optimization campaigns. We also provide an exclusive library service using the same design techniques applied to the preparation of our focused libraries.
To find out more, contact us or take a look through our available libraries:
- Ion channel libraries: SoftFocus ion channel libraries target the pore region of voltage-dependent ion channels. FieldFocus ion channel libraries, designed via molecular field technology, target the binding region of ligand-gated ion channels
- Kinase libraries: we are a pioneer in kinase library design, producing more than 35 focused libraries within the SoftFocus and FieldFocus kinase collections, targeting hinge-binding, DFG-out and novel binding modes
- Helix Mimetic libraries: SoftFocus Helix Mimetic compounds are based on a novel structural motif that interacts with protein helices. This first library is designed specifically to inhibit protein-protein interactions, but also target other helical recognition motifs such as the pore region of ion channels.
- Protease libraries: SoftFocus protease libraries target cysteine and serine proteases, based on the key ligand binding features in >50 known protease ligand complexes
- GPCR libraries: SoftFocus G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) libraries target specific sub-sets of GPCRs while ThemePair libraries comprise lower molecular weight, lower cLogP compounds
- Natural product libraries: we offer a natural product platform for hit and lead discovery based on a library of pre-purified actinomycetes and fungi sub-fractions. In addition we provide collections of isolated natural products and semi-synthetic focused libraries.
