X-ray crystallography
We carry out high throughput X-ray crystallography with high levels of accuracy. Automated processes deliver rapid results and a thorough quality assurance process is performed before results are released to you.
Reports for clients include ligand binding analysis (where appropriate), together with:
- Electron density maps
- Scaled and merged diffraction data
- Complete atomic coordinates
In-house crystallography
Our in-house X-ray generator, with high flux intensity and small focal spot size, gives excellent data collection from even small and poorly diffracting crystals. Simultaneous X-ray data collection experiments can be carried out that provide complete data sets in as little as 2-3 hours.
Synchrotron and beamline X-ray crystallography
For very high turnover or extremely small crystals, we have access to microfocus beamlines at a variety of synchrotron sources.
Synchrotron radiation sources greatly increase throughput and enable large numbers of protein-ligand complexes to be explored quickly. This is of particular importance when screening fragments.
