Target discovery

Our target discovery platform uses human primary cells to model diseases of interest in combination with functional genomics. We introduce cDNA (FLeXSelect) or shRNA (SilenceSelect) into cells using our collections of adenoviruses in order to study the roles of individual genes in disease processes. Advanced readouts, such as high content screening, are then used to identify the genes that have an effect on the disease. After further validation assays, these targets form the basis for the development of new drugs.

Our unique approach combines human primary cell assays with high throughput adenoviral technology, supported by state-of-the-art monitoring equipment.
